Remtec Exhibits at Automate 2015

This year the Remtec team was excited to make its debut as an exhibitor at Automate 2015. Held at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, Automate is the largest solutions-based showcase featuring automation technologies in North America.

Previously known as the International Robots, Vision & Motion Control Show, which dates back to 1977, Automate now incorporates the full spectrum of automation technologies and solutions for a vast array of industries. Held once every two years, the show offers a great place to see the latest and greatest robots from a variety of robot manufacturers. It also gives attendees the opportunity to meet with integrators like Remtec to discuss applications.  The Automate show is co-located with the ProMat material handling show, which boosts attendance for each show with like minded buyer traffic.

The Remtec booth exhibit featured a small robot cell with two M-1 delta robots, which attracted a great deal of interest among attendees. The exhibit also included a large screen video that provided attendees with a glimpse of Remtec’s capabilities.

By exhibiting in the show, Remtec hoped to expand its reach to new clients and new markets. Given that 90 percent of the contacts made at Automate 2015 were new to Remtec, the effort was considered to be a great success.
